3 Reasons That Your Inside Space Is In Need of House Painting:
One common reason is just the want to change up the colour and feel of a space. A purely aesthetic reason, you know? Maybe you want to go super bold in a room now! Take the bathroom picture on the right for example. A client wanted two tones of blue, with accents of black. The colour scheme matched the chosen black shower tile right nice. And the neutral black shower tile means this bathroom can be other colours in the future and still look great.
Or, maybe ya want light and airy colours, and let yer furniture and room accessories be the accent colours. In any case, ya either want a different feel for a room or just wanna decorate a space in a new way.

Second reason, your space could be newly built. New walls in a garage or basement, or new construction. Even some newly installed wood trim needs some paint to seal in the dust, give it protection, and make it look sharp.
When you’re thinking about hiring us for the interior painting of a newly built area around your home or business, we need a few things done before we can work our magic. We need the framing done, and any required electrical and plumbing that runs through the wall(s) finished up. Lastly, the newly installed drywall should be taped and mudded multiple coats and sanded smooth as butter, like in the picture shown. This is the normal outcome when a drywall installer finishes up. When your new area looks like this picture, all the mudded areas should have a smooth feeling transition to the drywall board, no ridges at all. This is when these walls are ready for painting, and where we come in with drywall sealer and finishing paints.
The third reason for home or commercial painting is to fix issues such as loose and peeling paint. Loose and peeling paint ain’t as common indoors but you see it in wet rooms, places with repeated moisture exposure and poor ventilation over time. The picture below shows a bathroom with bad venting, and the green circles show some black mold has appeared, along with cracking and peeling paint.
For the longest lasting paint job in wet areas, the best bet is to have active venting of damp air with an exhaust fan that’s got a timer on the wall switch. It’s important to make sure the exhaust fan’s workin’ right and that the piping’s vented outside. This might mean peekin’ into or crawlin’ into an attic space. To keep paint from peeling, proper venting of damp air for shower use is key- either by opening the window after each use, or better yet, using an exhaust fan in wet areas.
Likewise, basements with damp floors or walls touching framing lumber and drywall can slowly lead to mold and peeling paint if not properly sorted. While we can help with various fixes like bleach to kill mold, replacing sections of water-damaged or moldy drywall, and applying stain-blocking primers, addressing the root cause is crucial for a long lasting paint job. Our services go beyond just repainting walls to include thorough drywall repair, reviving and beautifying your home or business.
